The NakedLine Travel Board: a folding sprung tap floor with attached carrying handles designed for travel, especially by air! This Sprung Birch Board comes unfinished. The raw wood of this unfinished birch floor provides an ideal surface for Irish dancers. Fiberglass toes and heels have good grip and excellent sound. Young, beginning tap dancers can tap right on the raw wood. The aluminum oxide residue from metal taps will give the floor a black patina; because the wood is raw it will absorb the residue and will not clean with the ease of our finished floor surfaces. However, you will experience the same performance, resilience, and quality of sound you love about O’Mara Sprung Floors.
**EXCEPTION** This floor is not designed for hoofers, tap dancers practicing advanced steps, or Irish dancers wearing shoes with metal taps. If you wear metal taps on your shoes and dance heavily on your floor, please purchase a ProLine Maple Floor. If your tap repertoire includes: shuffle riffs, digs, shiggy bops/shovels, flam, you will dent a Birch floor very quickly. Please choose our more durable ProLine Maple Floor.
Foam blocks adhered to the underside of our resilient wood panels absorb landing forces and return energy, protecting your body and extending your career. The sound quality and resilience are top-notch. You’ll hear every nuance on this board.
